Effective Date: 11/01/2025
Last Updated: 01/05/2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to Pingura (“we,” “our,” or “us”). We provide a cloud-based network and device monitoring service designed to help customers ensure uptime, performance, and reliability of their systems, networks, and applications.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website, applications, APIs, and related services (collectively, the “Service”), including when you receive service-related communications such as email or SMS. By using Pingura, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following categories:

2.1 Account Information: When you register for a Pingura account, we collect your name, email address, organization name, billing details, and authentication credentials.

2.2 Monitoring Data: To enable the monitoring services, you may provide endpoint URLs, IP addresses, hostnames, or other target identifiers. You may also configure monitors that require database credentials, API tokens, or other secure connection details. These credentials are encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard encryption protocols and are never shared with third parties.

2.3 Technical and Usage Data: We automatically collect certain information through cookies, logs, and analytics tools, including IP address, device information, browser type and version, access times, referring URLs, performance metrics, and usage statistics.

2.4 Payment Information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment details are processed securely by our third-party payment processor. We do not store your full credit card information on our servers.

2.5 Contact Information for SMS: If you choose to enable SMS notifications, we collect your mobile phone number solely for the purpose of delivering service-related text messages.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Process transactions and send invoices
• Notify you about system updates, incidents, security events, or other service-related communications, including via email or SMS where enabled
• Enhance performance and optimize user experience
• Enforce our Terms of Service and comply with legal obligations

4. Data Security

We take security seriously. All sensitive data, including monitor credentials, are encrypted using AES-256 or equivalent algorithms, transmitted only over HTTPS/TLS, and stored on secure, access-controlled systems.

However, no system is completely immune to risk; you acknowledge and accept that data transmission and storage cannot be guaranteed 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

We retain data for as long as necessary to provide and maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

6. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data, including mobile phone numbers or SMS consent information.

All vendors are contractually obligated to maintain data confidentiality and security, including SMS aggregators and wireless carriers involved solely in message delivery.

7. SMS Communications

Pingura sends non-marketing, service-related SMS messages only, including outage alerts, recovery notifications, infrastructure status updates, and one-time verification codes.

Users may opt in to SMS notifications by voluntarily providing a mobile phone number through their Pingura profile settings or during account setup and confirming ownership of the number through a one-time verification process. SMS notifications are optional and configurable.

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing or using Pingura's services.

Message frequency varies based on monitored systems, configured alerts, and account activity. Messages are generally event-driven and sent only when relevant service or security conditions occur. Message and data rates may apply.

You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. To receive help, reply HELP or contact [email protected]. Opting out may limit your ability to receive real-time service alerts.

Pingura does not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. SMS consent data is shared only with service providers required to deliver messages.

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

8. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored in the United States.

9. Your Rights

You may access, correct, or delete your personal data by contacting [email protected].

10. Children's Privacy

Pingura is not directed to children under 16.
