Pushover uptime alerts

Push notifications with priority levels — including alerts that demand acknowledgment.

Professional and Business

Push notifications are delivered through the Pushover app and support three priority levels: Normal, High (the default), and Emergency. Emergency alerts keep notifying until someone acknowledges them, which makes them a good fit for on-call rotations. Available on Professional and Business plans.

Setting up Pushover alerts

  1. 1 Install Pushover and get your user key.
  2. 2 In Pingura, go to Profile → Pushover Settings and add the key.
  3. 3 Go to Settings → Notification Channels → Create Channel.
  4. 4 Enable Push as a notification method.
  5. 5 Choose the priority level and assign the channel to your monitors.

Full details are in the notifications documentation, or browse all alert integrations.

Frequently asked questions

What do the Pushover priority levels do?

Normal delivers a standard notification. High is the default and makes the alert more prominent. Emergency repeats until it is explicitly acknowledged, so an outage cannot be silently missed overnight.

Which plans include push notifications?

Pushover push notifications are available on Professional and Business plans.

Do I need a separate Pushover account?

Yes. Pushover is a third-party app. Install it, copy your user key, and paste it into Profile → Pushover Settings in Pingura.
