Slack uptime alerts

Get uptime alerts in the Slack channel your team already watches.

All plans, including Free

Slack alerts are available on every Pingura plan, including Free. Because notification channels are assigned per monitor, you can route production outages to #incidents while internal tooling posts quietly to #ops — without every alert waking the whole team.

Setting up Slack alerts

  1. 1 Create an incoming webhook in your Slack workspace.
  2. 2 Copy the webhook URL Slack gives you.
  3. 3 In Pingura, go to Settings → Notification Channels → Create Channel.
  4. 4 Enable Slack as a notification method and paste the webhook URL.
  5. 5 Click Test to confirm the message lands in the right channel.

Full details are in the notifications documentation, or browse all alert integrations.

Frequently asked questions

Is Slack alerting available on the free plan?

Yes. Email, Slack, and Webhook alerts are all included on Pingura’s free plan. Many monitoring tools restrict free users to email only.

How do I send different alerts to different Slack channels?

Create a separate notification channel in Pingura for each Slack incoming webhook, then assign the relevant channel to each monitor. A monitor can have several notification channels attached, so critical infrastructure can alert Slack, SMS, and push at once.

Can I test the Slack integration before relying on it?

Yes. Every notification channel has a Test button that sends a sample alert immediately. Test your channels before depending on them for production.
