Starter and above

SMS alerts require phone number verification and are available on Starter plans and above. SMS is best reserved for genuinely urgent monitors — pair it with a tighter check interval so the text arrives while the outage is still short.

Setting up SMS alerts

  1. 1 Go to Profile → Phone Number in Pingura.
  2. 2 Enter your number and complete verification.
  3. 3 Go to Settings → Notification Channels → Create Channel.
  4. 4 Enable SMS as a notification method and add the team members who should be texted.
  5. 5 Assign the channel to your most critical monitors.

Frequently asked questions

Which plans include SMS alerts?

SMS is available on Starter, Professional, and Business plans. It requires verifying your phone number under Profile → Phone Number.

Why do I have to verify my phone number?

Verification confirms you own the number before Pingura sends messages to it. This prevents the platform being used to text people who never asked for alerts.

Can I send SMS to my whole team?

Yes. Add team members to a notification channel with SMS enabled and each verified member receives the alert.
