Monitor your server infrastructure with CPU, memory, disk, and network metrics. Pingura is auto-scaling aware — it tracks individual instances and provides a unified fleet health score.
Creating a metrics monitor
Go to Metrics → Create Metrics Monitor and configure:
- Name — Identify the server or group (e.g., "Web Server Fleet")
- Reporting interval — How often the server sends metrics
- Grace period — Extra time before marking data as missing
- Max consecutive misses — Missed reports before alerting
- Notification channels — Alert routing
Deploying the metrics agent
After creating a metrics monitor, Pingura provides a lightweight collection script. Deploy it on your server to begin reporting metrics automatically.
The agent collects CPU usage, memory usage, disk usage, and network throughput (in/out) and reports them at the configured interval.
Threshold alerts
Set custom threshold rules to alert when metrics exceed limits:
- Metric — CPU %, memory %, disk %, network in/out Mbps
- Operator — Greater than, less than, equals, etc.
- Threshold value — The numeric trigger point
- Duration — How long the threshold must be exceeded before alerting
Example: Alert if CPU usage exceeds 90% for more than 5 minutes.
Auto-scaling and fleet health
Enable instance tracking to monitor auto-scaling groups:
- Individual metrics per instance — see which servers are hot
- Automatic instance discovery as new instances spin up
- Fleet health score aggregated across all instances
- Min instance count alerts — know if your fleet drops below expected size
- Alert when all instances go offline
Availability
Server Metrics are available on Professional and Business plans.
